The Clinton Theater has been playing movies since 1939. This photo looks like it was taken during WWII. The crowd is comprised almost entirely of women, and it looks like it might be a newsreel/parade on the screen. The theater had 350 seats crammed into it back then, now there are only 200 seats. Patrons used to enter the theater from a center aisle starting through the doorway which now leads downstairs to the bathrooms.
